The SONAX Clay Disk is the evolution of the traditional detailer's clay bar.

Just like with a clay bar, this disk is used to sheer off surface contaminants (embedded dirt, paint overspray, water stains, tree sap, adhesive residue etc) by gliding it over the paint surface prior to paint correction/polishing. But instead of having to pinch and apply pressure to a small piece of clay, the SONAX Clay Disk is a flat 150mm (6") pad that can be hand-held via a strap or attached to a DA polishing machine. The process of "claying" an entire car can be reduced to minutes.

One disk can treat as many as 60 vehicles, and it's easy to clean by rinsing off the collected impurities using a stream of fresh water.
